So it's simple to transfer wiki pages between wiki systems, like Wikipedia and our wiki on Wikia. But the problem is the the article links within the Wikipedia article are all relative links internal to Wikipedia. When you import that article into a new wiki, all the links are broken.
I would think that there are simple ways to translate those links to interwiki links that point back to Wikipedia, but I haven't found anything yet. Does anyone know of a way to do it other than manually editing them all?
Basically, the article links look like either example or text. On our end, they'd need to look like wikipedia:example or text. If there are any Word find and replace wizards out there, let me know if you know of a good replace forumula.

This has nothing do to with your issue but I have some basic critic on the wiki. I think it's an great and lovely idea and I would love to participate but there is just one tiny little thing that bothers me. I am very much not a design-guy and I don't know very much about it but I think the wikidesign is pretty... ehm uggly. I think all of grayscale and dark colors work very well here in a forum but I get the feeling that it doesn't really work as well in the wiki. I would really like so see something more plain that is nicer to the eyes. Anyway. That's just my opinion. I really think it's a great project.

That's cool, any feedback is appreciated. I think the theme is a single-click setting so maybe I'll play around with other looks. I haven't had much time to come up with articles for it yet.
But I did figure out the interwiki links thing, so if we want to pull in existing wiki articles, we can.
