Hello! My name is Dmitry “Fidel” Kornienko, I am a director of the upcoming film “Last Vegas.”
Our movie is a post-apocalyptic rock’n’roll action film inspired by a cult classic “Six-string Samurai.”
Our crew recreated the Mojave desert in Moscow’s suburbs. One quarry, few abandoned factories and a nuclear bunker altogether formed the phantasmagoric landscape of Last Vegas. Neither 200 kilometres to the most distant location nor terrible heat could stop us. We were also extremely lucky to team up with post-apocalyptic club “After Us” because they have contributed a lot in our movie.
More than sixty suits, weapons, masks and interiors were designed and produced for “Last Vegas.” We used rare models of mopeds and motorbikes and built the sets of raiders’ camp and dystopian village in the Wasteland. One scene required 50 extras, so we found them all and brought them to the set. Totally we had 12 different locations due to careful planning and invaluable help of the fans.[/span]
Synopsis
Two wanderers travel to the capital of post-apocalyptic America through the Mojave desert. The first one is a weird loner who is trying to save the kid as he believes the boy is a true king of Last Vegas. The latter is a vagabond who is running away from himself... Besides many dangers that await them along their way, they are hunted by the henchmen of usurper king Jackson who has betrayed rock’n’roll and condemned heritage of great Elvis!
So we are reaching out to you, rock’n’roll buffs, Elvis Presley's fans, action movie lovers and everyone else who cares — please, support our movie financially. Help us finish this film so we can take you back to this exciting world of music madness and sword fights.
