Come to think of it, I've never found anything that even comes close to a PA-style game like that. A shame, really. PA Risk or PA Settlers could be kinda cool

There is a fun board game called Pandemic which is pretty good, you play as a team trying to defeat a plague sweeping the globe. There is also an expansion pack that lets someone play as the disease, but I haven't got it. There is also this Nuclear War game: www.orau.org/ptp/collection/atomictoys/nuclearwargame.htm

There is a boardgame called Arkham Horror based on Lovecraft's stories, monsters and universe. It's agame where all players work together to fight a main boss (there's a lot more to it than that). Takes hours for a game and its a bit complicated at first, but its awesome. Sort of apocalyptic, but not really. There are tons of RPGs with a post-apocalyptic setting though.

I just picked up The Walking Dead Card Game from Target for $15. I just got it last night so I haven't even opened the box yet, but it seems like it might be cool. I plan to play it with my daughter sometime and will report back if it's worthwhile. www.amazon.com/The-Walking-Dead-Card-Game/dp/B00BX8J3OCI'm also curious if it can be played remotely, like in a Google hangout, if all the players have their own deck. I'm also keeping my eye on the zombie card game Downward Viral. They had a successful Kickstarter, and are about to do another one to fund another run of their physical game.

Oh, and I recently reblogged a post about official Walking Dead branded versions of Risk and Monopoly. I'm planning on getting the Monopoly one. Our friend Zombob of Zombob's Zombie News and Reviews seems to be pleased about something, and we wanted to share it. You might say his enthusiasm is infectious FINALLY!!! ZOMBIE MONOPOLY!!!!! At long last, the announcement has been made! After months & months of silence, (I was sworn to secrecy) these games have been announced! I started pestering these guys MANY moons ago regarding a zombie version of "Monopoly" and I even created an online petition requesting that the "Zombie Monopoly" game be made. After much communication via email & hard copy, it was confirmed to me months ago that it was going to happen! I just was not allowed to say anything about it. All I have to say now is "YAY!" Thank you USAopoly!! About Risk: The Walking Dead Survival Edition (Suggested Retail Price: $49.99) It’s a fun, new twist on classic Risk game play. USAopoly will debut a brand new map set in the southeast region of the United States where players battle and scavenge for their very lives. Contending for survival at every turn, gamers must not only fend off attacks from the living who compete for precious, limited resources upon which their survival depends , but they also must maintain their self-preservation from the unrelenting hordes of the undead that would feast upon them. A new deck of “Supply Cards” will add strategy, fun and flavor to this classic tabletop game. Gamers can expect a fast-paced game of attrition and survival, where this time—the last man standing wins! About MONOPOLY: The Walking Dead Survival Edition (Suggested Retail Price: $39.99) MONOPOLY: The Walking Dead Survival Edition delivers classic Monopoly wheeling and dealing game play. Players vie for, and then must fortify, the prime real estate and resources that will sustain their lives. There’s only one victor that will outlast the others – whether living or undead – when all is said and done. This completely customized game features six collectible tokens, optional speed play and a fight to the finish! Both games are slated for a September 2013 release, and can be pre-ordered through your local comic shop.
