Just finished this one last night. Its made up of 4 intertwining short stories about a post apocalyptic world, where a virus called the Baugh Contagion has killed or infected most of the population. It turns its victims into hyper-adrenalized cannibals that are unable to think further than their next meal....whether it's a cat, a dog, or a human. The four stories look at the current state of affairs from different angles based on who is experiencing it, and the four stories intersect with one another at different points over a two day period. I liked the characters and the writing style, but I didn't think there was much point to the stories overall. It was more like "a day in the life" type of scenario. I would have loved to seen these same characters and this world in a more pointed and meaningful story.

Huh, I heard a lot about The Junkie Quatrain after reading Clines' Ex-Heroes and Ex-Patriots (both really good, btw) but I had no idea it was PA. I'll have to take another look at that one.
