Ok, so tonight I was looking at wiki's list of PA games when I came across one called The my crappy product Directive. This video was so freaken funny I had to share. Probably the worst acting in video game history. The trailer was great, never played the game but this made my night.

That is Tex Murphy you're dissing there, buddy! Nobody disses Tex Murphy! ;D Seriously though, my crappy product Directive was a pretty good game (multiple endings and "choice and consequence" back before it was the "in thing"). I always preferred the more "point and click" style of adventures to the first person approach the Tex Murphy games took, but the story for this one was the best of the Tex games (IMO) and the character himself is a lot of fun. I know they are technically, but I don't really consider the Tex games PA; they're much more of a Bladerunner "future noir" feel for the most part, despite the world back-story. Oh, and trust me... that's Oscar-winning acting compared to some of the other FMV games from the same period. Look for 'Night Trap', 'Creature Shock', 'Critical Path', *any* American Lasergames (e.g. 'Crime Patrol') or FMV 3DO game (e.g. 'Snow Job'), and MANY others if you enjoy laughing at cheesy FMV game acting.
