I'm poor. When public transit goes out along with the rest of municipal infrastructure, this is it. They are comfy though.

Haha, you have no idea how many times I've thought off how painful that experience would be. Imagine a pistol grip on that thing.
It's my new project. I have the stock, but am missing a few parts to keep it and the trigger housing together. Come to think of it, I should put together a thread on it when I get some progress on it. I didn't realize it was in the picture until I uploaded it a little later.

My Bugout Vehicle is likely to be the Bronco that I am driving it it happens right now, its got off roading tires on and is a 4x4. I have taken it off road before, so I know it can handle it.

It's between a 76 and a 86, no idea on the exact date I can't find it on the stupid thing. My second choice in bugout vehicle is a dirtbike, either the little yamaha or my Suzuki rx 250 2 stroke. I need to put new gas in both.

Not mine to sell and it gets 8 miles to the gallon. It also needs a lot of work.

I drive a 1997 Nissan hardbody... 2 wheel drive 2.4L 4-cylinder, 5 speed. No bells and whistles. Just a simple truck that will run forever. It's got 222k miles on it.
It's only a 2-wheel drive, but it would still work pretty well for a small BOV. I have a lot of ideas for it, actually. I've got an aluminum camper top on it. I have a lot of ideas for the bed/camper alone - small shelving, bedding, insulation, heating, and the like. Stiffen up the rear suspension if the back were to be fully equipped.
My wife drives a 2007 Pontiac Vibe. Decent interior space, and it works good for our small family (one child). If it stayed strictly on road, it would make a good BOV. About 30-35 mpg, trusty Toyota dependability (it's only a Pontiac on the outside).

My '74 Catalina Coupe would have been the perfect vehicle - beat to shit, ran like a champ, would have carried belt-fed .50 M2s with no issue. Too bad it decided to burn up one night. One of the best damn cars I ever had. Drove it through multiple blizzards with no issues, including the blizzard from hell. 5-1/2 hours on Route 20 from the PA state line to Buffalo. (Typically an hour on Route 90 which was closed.) Not as sweet as the '66 Delta 88 I had, but damn, I love big boats. Their day is gone now, thanks to high gas prices. They used to build CARS in this country.
